Jeff Beck Sound Clips
Rare Jeff Beck bits unavailable commercially
As we promised....
The Jeff Beck fan movement has scored a major coup having finally had Jeff make
good on his promise to give us the unreleased Jeff Beck version of "Wild Weekend".
Jeff reprises the Rockin' Rebel's saxophone lead line with a biting, raunchy slide guitar,
something he hasn't done in years.
Wild Weekend
- This unreleased song was recorded at the same sessions
that produced "Walk Don't Run" for the 1994 movie "Little Big League". Peforming with Mr. Beck
are members of The Big Town Playboys. It has been edited in two parts due to technical and
protective issues. Enjoy.

C&A Clothing
- Who says you can't generate musical excitement in 55 seconds?? In 1991 Jeff Beck was hired by the German clothing store chain
C&A to come up with a dynamite background for one of their trendy commercials. Jeff, along with bassist Pino Palladino and long time
mate, drummer Jim Copley (Upp, Tears For Fears), went into Metropolis Studios on July 4, 1991 and banged out a truly unique driving intro.
The incidental synth keyboard is played by Jeff as well as the fabulous wailing guitar riff towards the end.

A 1997 XMAS present for you...portions of an unreleased Big Town Playboys track!
- During the 'Crazy Legs' sessions in 1992, Jeff Beck and The Big Town Playboys recorded several additional tracks which did not make
it on the Lp. The existence of these tracks was discovered by Nigel Flannigan who interviewed Mike Sanchez after a Playboys gig in
Stroke-On-Trent, England. We've chosen one of these to put on in two parts with some edits for obvious reasons. Listen as Jeff jumps
right into some classic Cliff Gallup style pulloffs. Also note the way Jeff's guitar playfully seems to signal the end of the track only
to start right back up again (Part II) which reminds us of what was the rave up style of rocking that Jeff was so vitally a part of with
the Yardbirds and on down! Here now is "I Got A Thing About Lovin' You". This song was originally performed by a Sun Records artist
named Billy Lee Riley. Enjoy.
